Newton's Third Law of Motion & opportunity cost

Newton's Third Law of Motion
III. For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction.
last time during secondary when i learn this theory i jus manage to remember it(hafal). and never notice this theory do really apply to all of us and it is just that it happened so naturally and we would not notice it if we are not careful.

i.e.
when you smile at people you hope that people would smile back at you. but what if the people do not do so? you would be upset for the whole day rite?

Opportunity cost.
this is the term which i've learned in my costing subject. i think for everything you do in our life there is an opportunity cost. Opportunity cost is a cost that measure the opportunity that is lost /sacrified when the choice of one course of action requires that an alternative course of action be given up. In annother words that is the cost of secrifing the best opportunity for the next best opportunity.

i.e.
you decided to give up to continue you studies in form 6 and you decided to go to study and you would graduate faster than your friends taking form 6. the opportunity cost of doing this is that you would be less close to those friends.

sometimes when we do something we think too much about the cost and opportunity and we forget why we wanted to do that particular thing and i'm lost:P

so i decided not to think too much and jus go ahead with what i've decided.

I've never hear of Newton's Third Law. Now you say it, it's very true.
Like when you say "how are you?" you expect a "fine". If it's now it'll sound awkward.

"Opportunity cost" is among the first thing I learned in Economics. I like that theory, for every decision you make, there's a loss of other things.

    good, teechong!

You link the things you've learned with the philosophy of life, perfectly.

Newton's Third Law of Motion is the hardest to comprehend compared to the 2nd law, and the 1st one. Oppotunity cost, I never heard of it, but pretty good theory.

We think because we need to figure out the truth and make the best decision. You've a brain in your skull, it's for you to think. haha, I'd confronted the same problem sometimes, but I always take the bigger picture as my reference, then, I'm not confounded.
