Had a discussion with a friend on the issue of the recent case decision of the case of rape of minor and decision was consensual sex with a minor is a OK thing to do?
my friend has been quite
confused with the case law decision.
However, I guess this does not have anything to do with the long expected GE soon. We are looking forward for the GE anyway.
Be it the result is +ve for the BN or -ve for BN it doesn't matter.
But i think we need to have awareness whether what is the actual situation.
and also understand what is
Statutory rape, Maybe the news is just too big for us to catch and the situation is being discussed among people.But it is just a topic to discuss over lunch / dinner or rather a point that we need to ponder what is happening.
What is the rational behind, why the judgement has been decided as such.

My friend and I was discussing about her parents letting her to go out during night time with friends for "yam cha" session.
Sometimes I feel that maybe yes we already grow up, but the worries from our parents does not go away that easily. I think is not that they do not trust us enough to give us freedom. It's just that the safety in Malaysia is so bad that it alarmed the concerned of parents, even though their kids is old enough to have their own KEY.
I guess nobody would want themselves to turn up to be one of the news in the papers one day. As such I guess we need to sacrifice a bit by not going out for "yam cha" session during night time.
However, on the other hand, it still voice down to the negotiation skills that whether we are able to convince our parents to allow us to go out at night. My hubby gave me a very good point / action plan that what should be done that I did not do well previously.
- Tell them where you exactly going and what is the expected time that you are coming back. Try not to be too late if your parents is waiting at the living hall for you to be back
- Let them know the phone number of friends that are "yam cha"-ing with you and try your best to bring them to your house so that your parents would know who are those people that you are going out with.
- Let your parents get used to you going out late by going according to their conditions.
I guess this would more or less helped to give an idea on how to handle your parents?
But most importantly, freedom does not come when you are not breathing. I would think safety always come first. Our parents does not really want to restrict us but always they have the worries on what we are doing no matter how old we are.
Think of your parents before you decide to do something for yourself...

Today spent some time at the gardens Maxis center cos my internet speed was down due to some c2pid update requirement by them.
And it has been almost one month the matter prolong... but I`m pleased that my matter has been solved within 10 minutes though I need to wait for the question for about 40 minutes.
Good thing is I do not need to call 123 to wait for call centre to pick up,answering those verification question and the result is my problem not solved.

One of the motivation to enjoy the our holiday this month is salary is received half a month in advance compared to previous months due to the festive season.
But on the other hand the disadvantage is you might tend to spend excessively with all the extra cashflow in the bank account.
Well for me, i will spend my money on books and cds
yeah here come the book fest in town during the festive season and public holiday as well as school holidays :)

So happened it was movie night last night and we loved to watched movie Tropicana City Mall. But it's only disadvantage is often we struggle to think what to eat at when we wanted to have a movie there.
but worry no more Secret Recipe came to the rescue when it wanted to go beyond veggie.
food was quite attractive. Will do a review in the next post.
but was glad that there is a good place to settle down for food in TCM :)

The theme of this olympic 2012 @ London is Inspire a generation,
i wonder whether this olympic does it managed to inspire the young generation to start practice and prepared to be the next national player who is as good as Dato Lee Chong Wei or Pandelela Rinong?
but before reaching the stage to be as good as Dato Lee Chong Wei or Pandelela Rinong
they need to go trough a lot of practice
a lot of pain
a lot of defeat
learn for failure

Good greds, good academic results, good co-co activities?
With a lot of people getting good greds nowadays,
i guess the best way that you can out perform others
you should potrait yourself as a person who is willing to stay and fight for the company for a number of years
if you potrait that you might not be possible to stay for long
possibility is you stand a lower chance to get hired.

Trevor, hubby and myself were at 1u on Wed to practice the lifestyle of a cheap Malaysian.
As mentioned in my earlier post,that day have various promotion such as free ice cream, mango drink and etc as well as other buy one free one promotion.
From the interesting photo I took that day I edited some interesting photo with my line camera.

In conjunction with dato LCW win of his second Olympic sprit, BR gave away free ice cream to celebrate his victory.
People line up as early as before 7.30pm. I was discussing with my friend that Malaysian have a habit to be casually late, but not when there's a queue for freebies and many will flock to the place with freebies.
I guessed it was a successful advertising tactics by BR. Applause for them regardless how much cost that they incurred to give away the free ice cream but definitely with all the publicity on facebook, twitter and etc ...definitely won some valuable free advertisement and they had successfully made Malaysian shared the advertisement of the free ice cream all over fb. Yes BR is the ultimate winner. (P/s just curious whether BR gave any free ice cream supply to Dato)
Besides free ice cream, there is also free 许留山 courtesy of 988 radio station show app get reward program. But the crowd is definitely lesser compared to free ice cream crowd.
At the same time there is also other buy one free one offer. I.e. Starbucks, McDonalds.
Not forgetting free sample given when you give them contact details to clinique and you get a free sample of their 3 steps cleansing process.
In the situation when salary is low and expensense is high and everyone try to save money... all this freebies would benefit us the most.
But just wonder does it worth the opportunity cost to go for all this freebies or discounted item.
