today big boss sent an e-mail to everyone of us
"I have asked my managers to utilize you in terms of advisory work as and when possible. I know you are busy with tax compliance work but the harsh reality is that there will never be a suitable time to do advice. Hence, if you want to learn, you have to sacrifice."
(sounds so right you never know when is the right time for you to learn. when the time comes are you ready for it??? sometimes you always complain that you have no opportunity to learn this and that.. but when the learning opportunity is here, i bet you need to ensure yourself is ever ready for any challenges)
"My team is willing to pass the knowledge but 101% commitment is required, including working on Sat and Sun and burning the midnight oil."
(well when people is willing to teach you, you need to pay the price as well. that's why i went back to office to do my stuff sometimes and most of the time... even there might be complaint but... i think when you pay the price you get the sweet rewards at the end of the day :))

(totally agreed with what boss say. you can choose to learn more or just stay on the spot and complaint to others the opportunity is not being offered to you to learn)
