today when i woke up this song was in my head. i think i was dreaming about this song. and so happen that i was late for my class. and can you imagine that a class which will be starting at 9 eventually is full in the first 3-4 row in front at about 8 o'clock. and i felt the scariness of taking a lot of places.

'kwai fatt's english is not very good. but the way he speak let ppl jus ignore that his language is not good..' haha..
and we have to buy his book again and again every time we take the tax subject.
but when i really attended his class. i have more and more interest on tax which i've lost since i hav a boring lecture which do not really know how to teach tax. but he always assume he got very good knowledge since he had worked in the irb before. erm but i do not think that those irb officer are very familiar with the tax act also..
the things i learn from kwai fatt is to be flexible. and in this changing era the most famous theory to apply is contengency theory. we have to adapt to changes and not jus follow to others blindly lo...

last time during secondary when i learn this theory i jus manage to remember it(hafal). and never notice this theory do really apply to all of us and it is just that it happened so naturally and we would not notice it if we are not careful.

i.e.

Opportunity cost.
this is the term which i've learned in my costing subject. i think for everything you do in our life there is an opportunity cost. Opportunity cost is a cost that measure the opportunity that is lost /sacrified when the choice of one course of action requires that an alternative course of action be given up. In annother words that is the cost of secrifing the best opportunity for the next best opportunity.

i.e.
you decided to give up to continue you studies in form 6 and you decided to go to study and you would graduate faster than your friends taking form 6. the opportunity cost of doing this is that you would be less close to those friends.

sometimes when we do something we think too much about the cost and opportunity and we forget why we wanted to do that particular thing and i'm lost:P

so i decided not to think too much and jus go ahead with what i've decided.

it has been raining every evening this week, it is the monsun season in malaysia.
the rain sometimes is the very very heavy one and sometimes is those not so heavy and jus drizling one. but i like raining in a sense i like to look at the water form the rain slide down from the window. and you felt that it is lonely and moody. and sometimes i like to walk under the rain.
but sometimes i hate it because, rain will wet my feet and sometimes i might slip cos my shoes are already 'botak' d.
but when you are in door you would not knoe what happened outside. sometimes when i'm in midvelly watching movie and when i come out i've notice that there was raining while i was watching my movie.
i think it would be raining this afternoon again.

sometimes i do feel weird that things are lost and also i cannot blog because the server is down. weird. and today i did not go out and i have to stay at home cos i dun hav anywhere to go.weird and boring and i dunno what to do is the best thing for me to do.

to me it is weird that i cannnot blog. it seems that blogging had become part of my life and i would like to keep it for a long time.

i used to think that people who smoke are those very bad person.
bad in a sense that they are not good to themselves and also people around them.
they are just selfish little bugs...
very very selfish.
and i have to hold my breath everytime when i'm in a smoking environment cos i'm really really sensitive to smoke especially those related to cigerrate.
but it seems that people who you like or admire... are all smoking...

the greatest love of all you can easily to do is just doing a favour by reducing one smoker in this earth and recude a lot of polution and also the risk of having cancer to a person.

used to play miss call.. and notice that you would onli miss call the person cos you really miss the person.
today i miss call 6644511 and he call back but i would be reluctant to pick up his phone. why? because. erm.. dunno ler... jus few kindda weird talking to someone who you do not knoe.

life is very very interesting as a student especially when you are the course committee of a kia su course.
you would want the best for all the course members and sometimes are not as simple as you would see it to be.

yesterday went to kl and bought a couple of books.
i wanted to buy the book by rene and also fish but the discount offer is over d.
so.. instead of buying their book i end up buying the book by wen kang and also chen luyu. and the cashier of the popular book store is so impolite in away, that they do not knoe how to say sorry when they did something wrong and also they not only did not give the correct discount in the first place, and also the cashier did not knoe how to give back the correct change. do the cashier knoe maths one ar? hey, popular management team do you test their maths before you employ them ar?
normally last time i would not check things that i've bought as well as the change. but sometime you really have to be careful. i as a consumer would have the rights to get what i'm suppose to get. i'm not a fussy customer but when your wrong just want you to say sorry and not jus correct what is wrong. this is not the service that the customer want.
me and my boy boy went to secret recipe to eat cake as i've promise him. sometimes i think it is really good that i couple can share what they think about and their own feelings.
on my way back as usual i took the bus ~~selangor bus. the conductor was the one who i like. the one which i have a lot of memory with my friend. and at that moment i recall all the good old times i've spend with her, but suddenly there is a little voice in my head. do not keep looking back! no point keep looking backward at your past where it would never changed no matter how hard you would be looking at it. if you still looking backwards after five years. you would never have any improvement. i think that is really true rite? sometimes i think i tend to think too much and spend too much time on my past and i neglected my present and future. so...i really gotta do something about it.

i think the first thing that i need to learn is how to be patient.
when you do a lot of things if you are patience enought then you would difinately find your success someday somewhere and somehow.

gonna stay at home today. to me staying at home is really a very very boring thing to do. and i do not really like to stay at home. i would rather spend my time in popular reading all the new and old books. that's wat would make me happy all the time.. staying at home is boring but it seems that my room is so messy that it really mess up my life. so.. better do some cleaning up today. and also do some study lo.
notice that when i'm staying at home the electricity bill went up cos i'll be fully utilise the computer and internet to online. so to save my dad's electricity bill, better dun online so much...

sometimes i jus wonder, whether i should ask him to let go of me. i'm quiet sure that i'm someone who never satisfy with what i have. what i've have i want more and want better one. i would always ask myself to search for what is best for me.

so.. will i be regreting? as he say there would be no friends anymore after i made the decision. is it worth taking the risk? just wonder what i'm looking for?

it is coming towards the end of today... and today is my friend's 21st b'day
just wanna wish this person.. happy b'day reguardless.. whether he would see this post or not la...

went to watch quiet a nice movie with my boy boy ~~ the terminal
initially he wanted to watch bourne supremacy.. but the show only starts at about 2.45 and by the time the show end.. i would be too late for me to go home.. (i'm cinderalla actually)
then we end up watching annother show call the terminal by tom hanks and also catherine zeta jones.
i agreed to watch this show since there is catherine zeta jones who can keep her body as fit as before giving birth.. wow... and i like her eyes...her eyes is so... hard to describe tough... erm....
this is a really really down to earth movie which talks about Viktor Narvoski who wants to visit New York which he totally dunno any english and also totally not familiar with the environment.
and the next thing you knoe wat happened? his country does not exists due to political conflict. and he can neither go into america and also go bck to his home~~~krakozhia and he is stuck in the airport... until further notice.
he was given meal voucher and also phone card and various offer to shop in the terminal.
but unlucky him lost his meal voucher and the worse thing is the jus knoe little english.and all that he could afford for is biscuits with mastard and various sauce.
and then he found way to make money by putting all the trolly bck at their place. i think this is really a nice way of making money... so clever...
but the airport officer went against him and prevent him form gettin any money by creating a new post to handle all the trolly. and he is back to square one again.
but.. being a person who extremely trusting in others and always full of hope, and always finds the bright side of all things and also patience to wait for job. i think this is what all of us loss as and when we grew up. we became less and less optimistic and also we are less patient because waiting is a really dull thing in the cyber age.

Pyramid selling is a fraud. It is a mechanism by which promoters of so-called "investment" or "trading" schemes enrich themselves in a geometric progression through the payments made by recruits to such schemes. Related deceitful schemes have been described in various international jurisdictions as "chain letters," "snow balls," "chain selling," "money games," "referral selling" and "investment lotteries".

Numerous legislatures around the globe have proscribed pyramid selling. The wording of relevant statutes, codes, articles, acts, regulations and the like vary, but all contain the following core concept: A pyramid is a scheme in which a recruit pays (an entry fee) for the opportunity to receive future benefits (money or privileges) which are primarily derived from that recruit's (and/or subsequent recruits') introduction of additional participants in the scheme, rather than from the sale of products to consumers.

Thus, the scheme's rewards effectively come from the addition of new participants and their investments, not from the sale and distribution of real products to persons who actually use or consume them. No real trading in viable goods or services takes place, and the scheme essentially involves an internal redistribution of wealth from new entrants to the promoters. The scheme serves no legitimate commercial function. The only "trade" being carried on is actually in scheme participants' rights, and the redistribution of participants' entry fees or investments.

Pyramid schemes are not commercially sustainable because they essentially assume an inexhaustible flow of recruits - all willing to pay to enter the scheme and to be enriched by subsequent recruits doing the same thing. As the number of available recruits is finite, however, successive recruits have arithmetically less chance of enrichment than the schemes' promoters. Consequently, such schemes are usually short-lived and those who enter last have virtually no chance of recovering their entry fee much less benefiting from the scheme.

Early pyramids were readily identified and successfully proscribed because of their lack of tangible product. Subsequent fraudulent schemes, however, have attempted to deceive the public and avoid prosecution by asserting that they are genuine businesses operating a multilevel marketing plan since they "sell" goods and services. Multilevel marketing is, of course, a well-recognized means of compensating direct sellers for the sale of products to consumers, including participants in the plan, through a network of independent distributors.

A closer inspection of a pyramid scheme's so called "products" typically reveals that they have no real market value. This is because the products are often "gimmicks" such as certificates, spurious training programs or magazine subscriptions, illusory discounts, or over-priced and under-performing "miracle" treatments and the like. Recruits are often obliged to "invest" in large quantities of these products with no realistic prospect of marketing them to actual consumers (or returning them for credit). Their investments, however, generate substantial income for the promoter who enticed them into the scheme.


The following factors differentiate illegal pyramids from lawful Direct Selling businesses:

1. Legitimate direct selling companies offer a genuine business opportunity based on the sale of quality products to consumers. They routinely offer consumers satisfaction guarantees or cancellation rights so that the consumer may return the product for replacement or refund if the consumer is dissatisfied. Pyramids schemes have no such commercially viable product sales base.

2. Legitimate direct selling companies strongly discourage overstocking of inventory and provide participants leaving the plan with an opportunity to return any unused, saleable merchandise to the company for a refund of not less than 90% of the salesperson's net cost. In contrast, pyramid schemes often encourage or require large stocks of non-refundable inventory and disappointed scheme participants are then left with stock which they can neither sell nor return.

3. Legitimate direct selling opportunities may be taken up with minimal start-up costs and little or no inventory investment. Even modest entry fees may be refundable if the new direct seller decides not to pursue the opportunity. Conversely, pyramid selling schemes often require high entry fees and/or substantial "investment" in inventory, and neither are refundable. This is because pyramid operators make their money from new recruits to their schemes.

4. The sales and marketing plans of credible direct selling companies are based on the progressive recognition and reward of direct sellers for the development of a customer base for consumption of the company's products. The development and stability of a direct seller's business is dependent on satisfied consumers and fairly remunerated direct selling network members. Pyramid schemes, on the other hand, offer get-rich-quick schemes to induce participants to buy "ground-floor" or "leadership" positions. In pyramid selling schemes there is no viable, long-term business opportunity.

In terms of income, do members of the organisation derive income from the mere act of recruiting? Are there actual sales to end consumers in the company's operations? To join the business, do participants have to pay a high entry fee? And if one wishes to opt out of the business, is there a provision for him to recover his money?

Such companies sell a wide range of quality products to the general public. The bulk of the sales are on repeat sales form satisfied customers. This is only possible because these companies spend millions on research and development to develop quality products.

Pyramid schemes are frequently disguised to appear as legitimate direct selling companies. Such schemes are not interested in marketing these products which are of dubious value. Instead, money is made in typical pyramid fashion, from recruiting, with new distributors being pushed to purchase high cost/large inventory when they sign up.

Many companies have a 100 percent money-back guarantee. Dissatisfied users (and there are relatively few) could exchange the products back for money or for an equivalent amount in other products.

Pyramid schemes will not buy back unsold inventory. Such schemes will collapse very quickly if there is this condition for re-purchase of goods.

These companies are interested in long-term business. In every country that they operate, this criterion is important because the companies have an obligation to their distributors who are small businessmen in their own rights.

Pyramid schemes are get-rich quick schemes. The nature of the pyramids, in which large numbers of people at the bottom of the pyramid pay money to a few people at the top, clearly explains why the scheme cannot sustain itself for long.

Recognition of achievement is based on efforts. This means that a distributor's income is commensurate with the efforts he/she puts into the business.

Position could be purchased.

Established companies depend on selling to customers quality products which offer value for money in order to establish a market.

Pyramid schemes are not concerned with repeat sales to users of the products. Profits are made on volume sales to new recruits who buy the products not because they are useful or attractively priced, but because they must buy them to participate in the scheme. As a result, new participants are stuck with products that are way below the market value in relation to the high entry fees paid by them. Should the pyramid scheme collapse, there is no way for the participants to recover their "investments".

These companies build up networks of independent distributors to sell products.

Promoters of a pyramid scheme are engaging in fraud, knowingly deceiving participants in the schemes.

They have strict Rules of Conduct which, among other things, forbids its distributors to load up on inventory.

Participants in a pyramid scheme have no choice but indulge in inventory loading/high fees to participate.

Distributors sell products and or services.

Participation is essentially based on recruiting, not necessarily on the sale of products or services.

Direct selling is a popular method of retailing which is recognised as a lawful and legitimate business in many countries including the U.S.

Pyramid schemes have been outlawed throughout the United States and many countries many countries around the world.

p/s: recently there is a lot of ppl approach me about enter in those scheme.. i would rather spend my time and money online than.... you know la... after reading this one.

In this plan, commissions are earned for the mere act of recruiting more new members to the plan, sometimes called "head hunting". New members are normally charged a substantial entry fee, often obscured by large up-front investments in inventory. (usually low quality products of little value).

the lecture is touching a lot about current situation and the latest update. tough many might think the lecture is boring but he is actually really good lecture...
just imagine i just go inside the lecture hall and sit down and do my study while i can increase my general knowledge.

decided to cut my hair within this week..
actually me myself do not really like long hair. therefore i decided i might cut my hair to a certain extend that it is really really short.
i've not cutting my hair since jan cos i'm lazy and the cost is high.
seems weird but to me keeping long hair waste a lot of time.
sometimes guy tend to like long hair a lot but i dunno what's the reason behind.
long hair is so troublesome and so difficult to maintain.
i like short hair to have a boyish look to suit my boyish personality.

Dear Friends,
Once upon a time there was a rich King who had four wives.

He loved the 4th wife the most and adorned her with rich robes and Treated her to the finest of delicacies. He gave her nothing but the best.

He also loved the 3rd wife very much and was always showing her off to neighboring kingdoms. However, he feared that one day she would leave him for another.

He also loved his 2nd wife. She was his confidant and was always kind, considerate and patient with him. Whenever the King faced a problem, he could confide in her, and she would help him get through the difficult times.

The King's 1st wife was a very loyal partner and had made great contributions in maintaining his wealth and kingdom.However, he did not love the first wife. Although she loved him deeply, he hardly took notice of her!

One day, the King fell ill and he knew his time was short. He thought of his luxurious life and wondered,"I now have four wives with me, but when I die, I'll be all alone."

Thus, he asked the 4th wife, "I have loved you the most, endowed you with the finest clothing and showered great care over you. Now that I'm dying, will you follow me and keep me company?"
"No way!", replied the 4th wife, and she walked away without another word. Her answer cut like a sharp knife right into his heart.

He then asked the 2nd wife, "I have always turned to you for help and you've always been there for me...when I die, will you follow me and keep me company?"
"I'm sorry, I can't help you out this time!", replied the 2nd wife.
"At the very most, I can only send you to your grave."

Her answer came like a bolt of lightning, and the King was devastated.

just went to the acca student meeting with the examiner last nite.
i just felt that i'm in a very very sucure box and never come out of the box before. and i think that it is time i come out of the box and not makin the box bigger for me.
just have the feeling that i'm very shallow.
and after i meet the examiner i've this feeling that i've not enough time to prepare so many things.
my mind tend to give up. but i think i would not have enough time if i already give up now. i would have enough time for me to pass the exam and maybe not to score with flying colour gua...
erm.. i have the motication already...
now it is really up to me to decide and take action..
i would rather do than say what i want. when action is not put into word. it seems that it is totally wasted.

it seems a bit weird cos i've put up yeong sang's picture in my blog and every time i open my blog i would see d bold head yeong sang...
then seem to me... it might caused me nightmare...
