We could never have a exact prediction on what is going to happened even with advance planning. At times, we might missed some golden opportunity and made some wrong turning. Apart from being upset for what had past, we should look forward and concern about the future! Because this is my life.. if it is to be it's up to me :) Live it... Love it... This is my life
i was wondering whether should i change to those phone which are social network friendly or still maintain the old phone
my main concern with what type of phone should i change to is cost i guess i would not prefer to increase my spending with the change of phone cos i'm not adicted to social network like FB
but i'm a bit kean on blogging but i have limited time to blog and sometimes you have so much idea to blog. but when you finished one hard days work and when you reach home you have decided to keep your brain clear
no more work no more brain draining
so i guess to switch to blackberry or iphone is just pure talking i would prefer phone with photo taking capability where i can capture the things whenever i like and whatever i like and blog it after it. i even can blog it from my phone. but it will cost me plenty if i decided to blog through my phone.
so conclusion i guess. i would not change to iphone or blackberry but i need to change a phone, so i can inheritate my old phone to my cousin sister? :P
there are somebody who said that Malaysia have the world class facility but the people have 3rd world mentality.
is it true? is it a fact? or just other people's wrong perception?
somehow i feel it's true to a certain extend but it's sad. how are we moving towards the high income country when the people still have 3rd world mentality??
it has been raining almost whole day this morning. seems like the rain is not going to end already. some how some why it seems my mood a bit down and feel a bit challenged today.
an interesting clip from namewee but it still did not explain where TNB came from. if you wanna know. you have to go namewee's clip to find out. i think technology is so good that you can express yourself with minimal cost.
sometimes always see people drive dangerously. so... maybe that this is a reason why until now i still have not learn how to drive??
Well This is Malaysia We are Malaysian.
and the worst part... foreigner come here and learn all the bad habbit of Malaysia and tell you "NEVER MIND... THIS IS MALAYSIA LO!!! MALAYSIA BOLEH!!!"
well Q-ing sometimes Malaysian do not have this habbit and i really hate Q-ing in the ladies. cos i would show myself as a very "SELFISH" person who stand in the middle of everybody from going to another door to Q but if ur urgent... just let people know maybe they would let you to go first?
well this is Malaysia and We are Malaysian... sad...
WTF.... tell me reaching 80 post this month is enough dy... now trying to reach 100 pulak... WTF
TNB... (sorry i also dunno wat this mean..but is i know is not Mslaysia's monopoly electricity supplier) if you wanna know u go to namewee's blog... he had done a good demonstration.
Applications for new credit cards have dropped by 80% following the Government’s announcement of a RM50 service tax on each card starting next year. (yeah... credit card agent are starting to look for new job)
The service tax, which was announced during the tabling of the Budget on Oct 23, is likely to affect more than 5,000 credit card agents and 18 credit card issuers. With their rice bowls on the line, the agents have urge the Government to reconsider the proposal. (oh yeah... unemployment rate increasing lo... more people looking for new job..)
Some of the representatives from over 40 sales agencies holding up credit cards during the joint press conference in Kuala Lumpur yesterday. Francis Teow, who runs a credit card sales agency in Penang, said banks would not be keen to maintain their large sales force if they were not confident of achieving the desired sales target when the RM50 tax was enforced. Teow and representatives from over 40 credit card sales agencies highlighted their concerns in a joint press conference here yesterday.
As for the Government’s argument that the RM50 was seen as a way to encourage prudent use of finances, Teow said a better alternative would be to raise the interest on the minimum monthly repayment from the current 5% to 20%. (i guess in view that the country's main income source - petroleum income tax has been declining and going into its end soon... and looking at the continous increasing government spending, the government has no choice but to look for other ways to create other new income source for the country. So i guess all theinteligent people in the government body had come together to prosper the country in order for MALAYsia to go move Into High Income Economy and they had no choice but to get the wool from the sheep.)
“However, the Government is well aware there are many cardholders with substantial amount of outstanding balances in their credit cards. And if they increase the monthly minimum payment, many will default payment and non-performing loans will increase,” (meaning we cant simply ask whether the Rakyat you cut your credit card already??)
Credit card sales agency director H.K. Tan said the service tax would not only have a negative impact on sales agents but also on card holders as well. "The newly imposed service tax will affect low and middle-class consumers. Many can’t settle their outstanding bills, imagine having to fork out another RM50 for service tax,”
Credit card consultant Kevin Choong said it was not viable to burden the industry that had done much for consumers with the new tax. “Credit cards have reduced the need to borrow from loan sharks. Imagine, people who do not have credit cards to avoid paying the RM50 service tax, they may need to carry a lot of cash and they will become easy target for thieves. Or, if in case of an accident in the middle of the night and you need to be admitted into the hospital, the credit card provides you with financial security,”
well in conclusion. MALAYsia is a High Income Economy gonna be country... so the Rakyat need to start learn how to be the people of High Income economy gonna spend by start paying service tax of RM 50 each year :)
i guess our beloved PM must have served the internet too much maybe do a little facebook and managed to accidentally watched my friend's clip "IF I HAVE 100 mbps"
i think what francesco sang was heard by our PM even he don't know hokkien or maybe he knows?
so he decided to invest to increase high speed broadband and even it's not 100mbps but it's 10% of 100mbps (i.e. 10mbps) = better than nothing
well i guess with the current rate of government spending... can have 10mbps should say we are very lucky dy :)
with the new budget annoucement having many credit card is not a good news even it's free for life so i should consider myself lucky cos the world's local bank rejected my credit card application?
well to me there are no difference but i guess having a lot of something is not a good sign especially when you have a lot of credit card is it good or no good leh?
long long time din enjoy this donut dy. but have decided not to eat too many sweet stuff dy. but one thing i like about is.. there is new flavour but the durian durian dun have durian duri dy but this time they put real durian isi inside which made it very very cool :)
the government's auditor general just came out with their 2008 audited result and from the report we can see people in the government has approved the purchase of 1G tumb drive for the price where you can buy 1TB harddisk
but another thing to think about is... after all this report has been disclosed to the public has any improvement measure been taken??? or next year we can see even BETTER report card?????
well... if that's the case... i would wonder what is the point of us tax payer paying so much much for our taxes at the same time the money has been going into the wrong pocket??
when you are in primary and secondary people always ask what is your ambition
and i was just talking with my youngest cousin and asking him what's his ambition and he was telling me very confidently he wanted to be a teacher
last time my elder cousin brother cos his nanny's husband is a lorry driver and he was telling everybody his ambition is to be a lorry driver
well my old ambition there are three 1) teacher 2) nurse 3) accountant
teacher is because i admire teacher cos they can teach student a lot of things and they can scold student?? (that's what i think at that point of time)
nurse is because nurse was a very honorable job so... i would hope to become a nurse back then
accountant... cos my house there are far too many accountant but i did not end up as a professional accountant but a tax profession
i think sometimes what we aim for does not mean that we will become it one day.
nowadays with the convenience of web storage we always up load our photos to FB, picasaweb, photobucket
but my uncle had not learned how to upload his photo to the above and he has not also have a duplicate copy of his photo into the CD / DVD
so when the hard disk failed all the photo that he has taken previously was gone as well.
this story teach us something.
1) we should backup the photo we take into CD/DVD 2) we can have a online photo album to store our photo. maybe you would not be able to retrieve all your photo but some of your memory is still there?? 3) never trust technology too much :) 4) always have plan B for the things you do
last week my cousin called me.. and was told that their pc was rosak
and me and my bf went to their house and check it out what was happening and we realised something their hard disk 'KONG' dy and the age of the hard disk is only 10 months so it's kinda lucky for them cos it's still within the warranty period ma.. but it makes me thinks again... how come?? what had happened?
well but i just wanna be thankful cos my pc had supported me for so so long and hope it will support me forever :)
when i was busy with my work yesterday my kawan who had nothing better to do posted a post with the title blog competition and yes My answer for him is WAT WAT WAT... not WTF, Pengsan or Kanasai
my friend who is officially got nothing better to do... and ... i guess... that's WAR hahaha...
i took two days off this month wanting to schedule to clear my leave but changes always makes things clash with your schedule then i realised things has been messed up.
i cant attend a meeting which was postpone to Friday since i'm taking off on Friday. well so.. delegation is very very important at the same time it's just a boring meeting while your role is there to say well ok we will try our best to help you out.
next next monday i'm on leave but it's the monday after the budget day i guess it will be bz anyway so i think have to get ready with all the envelopes and stuff since everybody is free now will ask them to get ready later.
a building marked X on the bird eye view has gone into history and slowly disapper from the map of the golden triangle. well that's the reality of life
if you are useless or somebody have better function than you you will be phase out and be discontinued.
well i do not know why i'm upset maybe today is a bad day for both of us and we so happened to talk to 'sui san' at the same time which caused both of us quarrel again.
well maybe things would be able to settle easily but i guess at most of the time i'm a negetive person so...
but would you ever try to understand why i'm doubtful i guess things will go their way so...
i went to sleep half way writing my blog. then when i woke up it was around 3 in the morning and lights was off but still decided to start to write and this will mark my 1600 post in my blog
1600 mark a long long way for this blog a lot of writing a lot of thinking to do
a lot of fighting here a lot of comment here and there a lot of support a lot of help
but after 1600 post nothing changes me much maybe i grow older and wiser??? maybe not
but just feel glad to have blogged for 1600 post and i do see myself continue blogging cos life never changed until the day you went 6 feet under so.. enjoy reading my blog la :)
reading my Taiwan friend's blog and just realised i've not been doing some food review lately. maybe cos i have not been to a new makan place lately cos wanna save money for zome other reason
last weekend went to this i guess it's new restaurant near Carefour the decoration of the restaurant looks so green and joyish
Mix Rice @ RM 3 for one rice and 3 dishes if you wish to add additional dish RM 1 each to be added
Jawa Mee look nice and taste nice nothing similar to the one in Natural but i guess it's worth the try cos it's 用料十足
Prawn mee... yeah my favourite not too spicy and the soup was tick enough cos they put a lot of seaweed inside and you feel so satisfied and you wanted another bowl of the food?? hahaha
Rojak consider quite an ok one... and one good thing is the Rojak is much much cheaper than those you can get outside other vegetarian restaurant
Pohpia consider one with a lot of ingrediant inside but if compared i like / prefer the one in blue boy
Section 1 where you can order noodle
Second Section where you order mixed rice. i did a rough count there should be around 30 dishes to choose from. not bad for a vegetarian restaurant rite :)
3rd section sells drinks, pohpia, rojak, buns and stuff and i even saw roti canai on the menu
nice a cozy environment for lunch / dinner which i guess i would difinately come back for more :P remember the sign board Jovial Veggie House i like their tag line of the restaurant "我们的开始在这里...悦素之家是一间没有厨师的餐馆概念... (应该是概念餐馆吧??) 诚意至上,心意传达。"
the new concept vegetarian place where you can find nice and reasonable price vegetarian :)
went to Sri Petaling with Mr Goh and so we decided to pay this highly recommended by books and review
so we ordered
black pepper fried udong noodle taste ok + a lot of vegetable
i ordered spaghetti which is special cos it use Fusilli instead of the normal straight spaghetti. taste ok for me but i still like the spaghetti ala natural :P
Passion Fruit + Honey with real passion fruit seed inside not just the smell or taste of passion fruit
the environment of the restaurant is cozy and nice
they have a corner which sells organic food stuff to daily facial and hair washing stuff to dish washer
they also have this cozy waiting place for you to sit down and do some reading
overall the place is quite nice but pricy.. but i guess it should be ok to try out new places one a while rite? just to nice to ourselves
you can visit them @ 146-1, Jalan Radin Anum 1, Bandar Baru Sri Petaling, 57000, KL. Tel: 03-90589187
i wonder why the street lights are on during day time??? aren't we suppose to conserve our energy resources and save some electricity??? or cos the street lights are generating it's own power using solar system?? i wonder but i guess we should never ever waste or energy resources since it's one of the scare items in the world.
last week was Mr Goh's b'day therefore we went to our usual place to have our dinner for a small small celebration
why is b'day boy having sour face for his b'day celebration??? is the food not good enough???
well as usual this is my plate of food which usually makes me full tank after i managed to finsh all of it :P
another view of my plate of food to be cooked together with the boiling pot of soup :)
b'day boy too busy cooking his dinner and still not having any smily face maybe i did not give him a better b'day dinner???? herm... i guess it's my fault.
so you spot anything special about the fish??? it feels like watching the disney channel... "SPOT the MICKEY"
haha there is a Mickey logo at the tail of the fish. quite difficult for me to capture as i'm not a professional photographer.. but cute rite... your fish so happy have a mickey mouse logo at it's tail :)
if you have a very nice and cosy office would you have the heart to spend the time to decorate the door of your office like the picture above???
just feel that it's a bit risky posting the picture above. cos it's easily recognised where you took the picture from if it's being read by people from office.
but anyway just to blog the things i see everyday it's nice and i wanted to share with everyboday ;)
office was selling stuff for charity on the Impact day but i dun get to buy since i'm anti social and they din ask me to buy for it.
then that day they are left with 3 muffin and they say 3 for RM 3 you be a nice person help me to buy it and let me finished selling it la... then i just say ok lo...
then she started to shout "i found my MANGSA" i was like... what... me = mangsa???
well for charity jus be the mangsa of the day never mind la... but please tell me... how much would you be willing to pay for the muffin above leh?
my friend was blogging about if you are not careful with the new RM 50 you would treat it as RM 1 which in turn cost you an Extra RM 49
well as far as from my point of view this would rarely happen unless you are super duper blur person. cos RM 50 is so much bigger in size and value as compared to RM 1 (please see the picture above to compare)
my friend might be correct to a certain extend as both of the money are in blu from the left hand corner. but notice there is jawi writing for RM 1 and none for RM 50??? while RM 50 has white blanks on it's right hand corner and RM 1 has only blue blanks on it's right hand corner
last but not least when you turn to the front side of RM 1 and RM 50. you would difinately would not mistaken it cos there is a big big RM 50 infront of it.
if you still mixed up both of them congrats... you just pay RM 49 for a good lesson
in the year 2003 when i just started my relationship i collected this i'm lovin bear and my collection is complete except the bear above. at that point of time i always tell myself it's ok without the collection of the above bear but everytime when i look at the bear collection... i would feel that there is something missing the other bears are all still inside their own wrapper so that when we move into our new house we can display it on a special glass shelf
after much consideration and do not wish to have any regret... i decided to ask for help from my friend to ask around to see whether there is anybody who is willing to 割爱 to let out their city bear collection. of course it's at a cost
after one afternoon of waiting. it seems that there is good news... but i'm still waiting for confirmation of price and stuff. hopefully really can get it :)
"I have asked my managers to utilize you in terms of advisory work as and when possible. I know you are busy with tax compliance work but the harsh reality is that there will never be a suitable time to do advice. Hence, if you want to learn, you have to sacrifice." (sounds so right you never know when is the right time for you to learn. when the time comes are you ready for it??? sometimes you always complain that you have no opportunity to learn this and that.. but when the learning opportunity is here, i bet you need to ensure yourself is ever ready for any challenges)
"My team is willing to pass the knowledge but 101% commitment is required, including working on Sat and Sun and burning the midnight oil." (well when people is willing to teach you, you need to pay the price as well. that's why i went back to office to do my stuff sometimes and most of the time... even there might be complaint but... i think when you pay the price you get the sweet rewards at the end of the day :))
"And, this is not an instruction. Don’t hesitate to decline – if you think you are not ready." (totally agreed with what boss say. you can choose to learn more or just stay on the spot and complaint to others the opportunity is not being offered to you to learn)
last month i do not know why my mum suddenly have the heart to prepare 'wan tan' but 'wan tan' was not successfully made and there are some left over for the ingredients used for the 'wan tan' preparation
so me and joo used it to prepare egg-pan cake this is how it looks when we finished fried on of the side :)
sometimes and most of the times there are things that looked like it's very nice but in actual fact it's not nice at all
the other day i went to buy this cup cake it looks so nice to me cos i like a lot of chocolate those feeling but when i ate it it disappoint me maybe cos it's an egg free cake??? well no comment on that
just have a feeling that sometimes are not as good as you see it :P
Free Executive Redemption @ Guardian of Big HeadzTM
Spend RM 15 @ Guardian you'll get FREE big Headz stamp lookout for STAR Buy items and you'll get extra Big Headz stamp collect 40 stamps then you would able to get FREE plush or RM 18.90 + 20 stamp you can get a Plush which normally cost you RM 49.90
how to say this is a good selling tactic leh?? 1) you need to spend RM 15 X 40 = RM 2,000 in Guardian in order to collect all 40 stamp and Plush is not only 1 design so if you really like to collect them all what would you do??
2) you might end of spending more on things which you do not really need cos you wanted to collect the time for star buy items
3) this will attract more ppl to guardian if they wanna collect Plush
4) you might end up spending over budget... maybe at this point of time you only have to buy things @ RM 10++ but in order to meet RM 15 u buy something extra cos you wanna get the stamp.
i guess it's a successful tactic used by Guardian to attract buyer since the Paddington bear promotion.
this morning was chatting with my friend and suddenly we went to the topic of cheap air ticket promotion by MAS then i asked my friend whether he go any plans to go overseas and he told me that his passport has expired for a year
then i ask him whether he know what's that he can actually renew his passport for RM 100 for two years and to my surprise he does not know about it.
well what should i say??? he really do not know about it cos he just concern about the international news i guess he is quitely seeking opportunities to go overseas for greener pasture just like many Malaysian who grew up here and choose to work else where :)
there are always money making opportunity out there. you just need to know when and where and also how to find it.
today happened to helped my friend to close a deal to sell his Coke Contour Glass (pink one). RM 9 for the glass cup. Where it initially was a free gift together with the MCD Coke Contour Glass meal. I would think this strategy of selling more food in exchange for a glass. is it worth while in the point of consumer?? does it result to wasting of food?? cos you do not need to eat so much but you want the glass so u ordered the coke contour glass meal?? anyway.. no matter how... MCD already WIN in their strategy.
so now my friend who is selling his cup is happy (of course happy) can recover part of his cost for eating MCD meal and my friend who is buying the cup is also happy. cos can complete her collection of Coke Contour Glass as she missed out the very first glass. So i guess this is call WIN-WIN situation…
in this transaction i also WIN… cos i’m the good middle person of the transaction ma
so in the conclusion... there are four parties which WIN 1)MCD 2)Buyer 3)Seller 4)Middle person
those were the days is one of the very first english song which my english teacher used to use it to teach us to learn english speaking he loved to use singer to teach us how to speak fluently
cant believe it i can actually found a clip on youtube it's amazing and great too
so.. those were the days i think this song bring a lot of scene in my mind
Once upon a time there was a tavern Where we used to raise a glass or two Remember how we laughed away the hours And dreamed of all the great things we would do
Those were the days my friend We thought they'd never end We'd sing and dance forever and a day We'd live the life we choose We'd fight and never lose For we were young and sure to have our way. La la la la... Those were the days, oh yes those were the days
Then the busy years went rushing by us We lost our starry notions on the way If by chance I'd see you in the tavern We'd smile at one another and we'd say
Those were the days my friend We thought they'd never end We'd sing and dance forever and a day We'd live the life we choose We'd fight and never lose For we were young and sure to have our way. La la la la... Those were the days, oh yes those were the days
Just tonight I stood before the tavern Nothing seemed the way it used to be In the glass I saw a strange reflection Was that lonely woman really me
Those were the days my friend We thought they'd never end We'd sing and dance forever and a day We'd live the life we choose We'd fight and never lose For we were young and sure to have our way. La la la la... Those were the days, oh yes those were the days
Through the door there came familiar laughter I saw your face and heard you call my name Oh my friend we're older but no wiser For in our hearts the dreams are still the same
Those were the days my friend We thought they'd never end We'd sing and dance forever and a day We'd live the life we choose We'd fight and never lose For we were young and sure to have our way. La la la la... Those were the days, oh yes those were the days
as we grow older do we get wiser too?? maybe yes maybe know... through the experiece we have on the way we grew up and somehow we maybe relectuant to change so we are still the same old person
if you read the newspaper you will notice there are some politician that wonder why there are so many Malaysian in the S country
well if you ask me i would think the grass are greener there? and if you ask 10 of my friends who went there i would assured you that at least 70-80% of them are reluctant to come back to start all over again
which i do not really know what's the real reason behind cos i'm not one of them well if you have hair you would not be bold if you can earn much much more in Malaysia i would think you would prefer to stay back here if you are earning more elsewhere i guess you would stay there too rite?
this is a "gift" from McD if you buy Coke Contour Glass meal from MCd ==》a big value meal + chocolate / strawberry ice cream
it would be cheaper if you buy during lunch time cos they have promotion for cheaper price previously during lunch hour but do remember eating fast food once a week will really help to increase your weight while you are anware of it.
another way you can just get the "gift" with a price of RM 8.80 worth while to get it? i wonder...
to people who start collecting it.. gambade and happy McDing :)
